Jezebel Rose Up Against Authority and Was Arrested

Press Release
For Immediate Release

Jezebel was arrested today. In Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Gloria, the Director of the West Women’s Center abortion clinic refused to obey the lawful authorities and was arrested at approximately 8:30 am.

Operation Save America is often portrayed as law breakers when we are truly law keepers, first God’s Law then the laws of our land. About 200 gentle Christians planned to travel from the OSA Birmingham Event to Tuscaloosa on Wednesday. We learned that the killing center changed their schedule, so we did the same. We took the Gospel of Christ to the gates of hell in Tuscaloosa today, Tuesday, July 17.

When Operation Save America arrived at the clinic, its director began threatening the Christians. The police, in order to avoid an altercation, asked her to calm down. She replied, “I will do what I want.” When told she must obey rightful authorities, she stated she would not obey. She was immediately arrested.

Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. Romans 13:1

In many cities the God given authority is used wrongfully – to oppress Christians and squash 1st amendment rights. In ONE city, Tuscaloosa Alabama, the police use their authority correctly, defending the innocent and keeping order. The spirit of Christ loves order. The spirit of Jezebel hates authority.

Judge Roy Moore, Alabama’s favorite Judge, and Hank Erwin, Alabama’s favorite Senator will speak at the Thursday Operation Save America Rally in Birmingham, July 19, 2007. These are men who understand true submission to authority, even at great cost.

Rally:
Thursday, July 19, 6:30pm
Doers of the Word Church
4744 Airport Hwy
Birmingham, Alabama

To schedule interviews: contact Pat McEwen at 321-431-3962.

I truly feel bad for you people. You don't have a clue when it comes to reducing the number of abortions in this country. Your attempts to eliminate abortions by criminalizing the procedure or forcing clinics out is the equivalent of slapping a bandaid on an AIDS lesion and saying you are trying to cure AIDS.

Pull your heads out of your butts and look around at the world around you. You have to solve the problems that force women to choose abortion. Sexism, patriarchy, unfair working conditions, poverty and a host of other issues need to be solved FIRST.

Be a good Christian and help women choose the right path BEFORE the question of abortion ever comes up. That is the only way to solve the problem.

Wow! What a lot of rubber reality checks bouncing in Katie's post!

If criminalizing abortion and closing down these hellholes will not reduce the numbers, then why do PP, NARRAL, NOW, NAF, NCAP, the Feminist Majority (which is actually neither) et al,groups of people who literally thrive on innocent bloodshed, go ballistic at both prospects?

To state that patriarchy is a worse problem than abortion just shows how out of touch with reality you are. Most any sexually active young man will tell you that they look for girls whose relationships with their fathers are bad or nonexistent, because it is easier to exploit them sexually...the better, of course, for the abortion industry. Face it, proaborts hate patriarchy because it threatens the socialist tyranny agenda in general and abortion in particular.

As for sexism, the abortion mentality says that women are too incompetent to take responsibility for the children they have conceived. It makes it much easier for predators to exploit women sexually or for money (abortionists, most of whom are male). Respecting the differences between the sexes and fathers respecting and protecting their daughters don't "force" women to get abortions. Selfishness, some ignorance of the risks of abortion, and fears, exploited by predatory men, greedy abortion profiteers, or parents, are what coerce many women to get abortions...at least in the real world.

We are aware that abortions were done before Roe and will be inflicted on angry, frightened, often irresponsible women if abortion is once again criminalized. However, addressing abortion as a problem will go much further than ignoring it while focusing on something that is about as much of a "solution" as fighting forest fires with gasoline.

Obviously, the best path which real Christians do try to encourage people of both sexes to pursue, chastity outside of monogamous, same sex marriage, is one which is despised and discouraged by the abortion industry because it works so well.
But helping women choose the best path still available to her AFTER the question of abortion has come up, LIFE, has saved many innocent children, and their mothers, a great deal of heartache, death, and other damage. Over 90% of post-abortive women regret their abortions, but we don't hear of women terminating their pregnancies the natural and life-affirming way for everyone concerned (except the predators), by choosing life.

These are facts well documented in the world around us however Katie or anyone else may feel about anything or anyone. For more, check out http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=42462.

g, you are right on the money when you state,

"Face it, proaborts hate patriarchy because it threatens the socialist tyranny agenda in general and abortion in particular."

We have been reading Frederick Douglass' "My Bondage and My Freedom" for the past several months. (It isn't that long a read, but it's a good one! We've been through it several times) In the second paragraph of the third chapter of this book, Douglass, who had been born into slavery and later escaped to become a fiery and articulate abolitionist, has this to say concerning patriarchy:

"Slavery does away with fathers, as it does away with families. Slavery has no use for either fathers or families, and its laws do not recognize their existence in the social arrangements of the plantation. When they do exist, they are not the outgrowths of slavery, but are antagonistic to that system..."

See any parallels here? Like the slave was, the unborn child has been legally declared a non-person, reduced to a thing, a piece of disposable property. Real fathers-the sort who protect their mates and offspring from the atrocities of induced abortion-are antagonistic to the abortion system, and every effort is made to prevent them from doing what real men do naturally, in protecting the weaker, especially their own flesh and blood.

Douglass concludes this chapter of his life as a slave with these words: "There is not, beneath the sky, an enemy to filial affection so destructive as slavery. It had made my brothers and sisters strangers to me; it converted the mother that bore me, into a myth; it shrouded my father in mystery, and left me without an intelligible beginning in the world." Induced abortion, of course, does all those things to its unborn victims, and it cruelly exploits, attacks and endangers their unprotected mothers.

Douglass, in a lecture on the nature of slavery, further said this: "THE FIRST WORK OF SLAVERY IS TO DEFACE AND MAR THOSE CHARACTERISTICS OF ITS VICTIMS WHICH DISTINGUISH MEN FROM THINGS,AND PERSONS FROM PROPERTY. IT'S FIRST AIM IS TO DESTROY ALL SENSE OF HIGH MORAL AND RELIGIOUS RESPONSIBILITY. IT REDUCES MAN TO A MERE MACHINE. IT CUTS HIM OFF FROM HIS MAKER, IT HIDES FROM HIM THE LAWS OF GOD, AND LEAVES HIM TO GROPE HIS WAY FROM TIME TO ETERNITY IN THE DARK, UNDER THE ARBITRARY AND DESPOTIC CONTROL OF A FRAIL, DEPRAVED AND SINFUL FELLOW MAN." (caps mine)

Douglass was also a contemporary and friend of the early feminists, including Elizabeth Cady Stanton, who had this to say concerning the killing of children through induced abortion: "WHEN WE CONSIDER THAT WOMEN ARE TREATED AS PROPERTY, IT IS DEGRADING TO WOMEN THAT WE SHOULD TREAT OUR CHILDREN AS PROPERTY TO BE DISPOSED OF AS WE SEE FIT..."

Returning to the matter of patriarchy and slavery, any system that seeks to destroy the traditional family unit, the partners of a monogamous, heterosexual marriage caring for the offspring of their union, is by nature oppressive. The slave owners wanted their slaves to have no other loyalties. Jezebel castrated her servants so they COULD not form any closer ties--familial ones-than to her.

America is already paying a high price both in and for the undermining of the traditional (read, authentic) family unit as, as C.S. Lewis stated, "We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful."
- C.S. Lewis, "Men Without Chests" from The Abolition of Man.
